Today is #GivingTuesday and Monoprice is giving back to the community through the SmileMakers’ annual Angel Gift Holiday Project. The Angel Gift Holiday Project helps to provide holiday gifts to isolated seniors in skilled nursing and residential care facilities.
Our Christmas tree is loaded with Angel tags ready to be fulfilled. Employees are welcome to take an Angel tag which represents a specific gift request from a senior and fulfill that gift wish. In December, gifts are picked up by the Council of Aging from our offices and then wrapped and delivered to each senior recipient. This holiday season, we celebrate and hope to brighten the holidays for our seniors!

The Council on Aging
The Council on Aging – Southern California has been a trusted source of unbiased information for over 45 years, providing programs and services to more than 290,000 seniors and their families annually.
More than 14,000 seniors living in long-term care facilities in Orange County have no family or friends with whom they can share special moments like the holidays. We believe that everyone, especially seniors needing extra care, deserves to celebrate special occasions with cheer.
The SmileMakers Guild mobilizes community support to provide holiday gifts to over 5,700 seniors in skilled nursing and residential care facilities annually. Often, this is the only gift these seniors will receive.
